* Crispijn van de Passe (Dutch, 1597-1670), a group of four copper-plate engravings with original hand coloring from Hortus Floridus, Amsterdam, 1614-15, sheets 7 1/2 in. x 11 3/4 in., attractively float mounted and framed.
- Notes: Note: Much like his contemporary Basil Besler, the work of Crispijn van de Passe had a lasting influence on 17th century gardening. The beautiful small format plates depict spring blooms of flowers found throughout Northern European gardens.
