.[Slavery/Colonial America/Appraisal, A.D.S. dated April 25, 1798 Comprising two items framed as one. Being a court order for the appraisal of the estate of Reuben West of Halifax County. The appraisal performed by Jonathan Colquitt, Daniel Minor, David Farmer and Archibald Farmer on the order of Berry Green, District Court of Halifax County and recorded by him and John Wimbush. Included in the appraisal are the Negro Woman Phebe and her two children, valued at 150 pounds.
