A Bavarian Blanc-de-Chine Faun Family Group, 19th c., Nymphenburg, bearing continuation of underglaze blue mark of crowned CT (for Elector-Palatine Carl Theodore, owner 1762-1798) and "79", height 6 1/2 in., length 11 1/2 in., depth 6 in. Note: small losses of child's forefinger, nymph's left toes. Note: Although the Frankenthal factory closed in 1800, the Bavarian state factory at Nymphenburg was permitted to continue using the "crowned CT" mark during the 19th c. (W.
