A Cased Set of French .950 Silver Vermeil Flatware for Twenty-Four, c 1870, a variation of Kings pattern, comprising 24 dinner knives, 24 luncheon knives, 24 forks, 24 soup spoons, 12 teaspoons, 4 serving spoons, 2 berry spoons, and a sugar tongs, and each with engraved crest on reverse of a gauntleted hand holding a cross above waves and inscribed Per Mare Per Terras, and including 12 Kings pattern teaspoons in brass-mounted three tiered fitted oak case, note: one serving piece missing, weight 155 troy ozs. 14 dwts.
