A Chinese Archaistic Faceted Flambé Vase, Fanghu, probably Guangxu Period (1875-1908), the flattened pear shape body rising from a short foot to a tall neck, with canted corners applied with a pair of lug handles, the swollen belly molded with a raised peach-form panels, the exterior covered over all with an oxblood glaze streaked with pale green and buff, height 11 1/4 in.
