A Chinese Carved Wood Figure of Budai, 20th c., the standing, rotund figure carved on a naturalistic base with an empty sack on his back, a scepter in one hand and with nine children clambering up his body, impressed chrysanthemum mark to scepter, height 31 1/2 in.
