A Chinese Embroidered Silk Scenic Panel, 19th c., picked out in satin stitch and couched metallic threads with multiple figures in a garden landscape set with the Three Friends of Winter: prunus, pine and bamboo, and numerous flowers, butterflies and birds, sight 19 1/2 in. x 35 3/4 in., framed, overall 23 in. x 69 1/4 in. Note: Condition.

  • Provenance: Provenance : Estate of Merle Tennyson Montjoy (1920-2008), sold for the benefit of the Mississippi Museum of Art.
