A Chinese Enameled Relief Porcelain Snuff Bottle, 19th c. or earlier, of flattened ovoid form, carved and molded in high relief with a continuous design of male figures in an outdoor setting, picked out in polychrome and gilt enamels on a creamy white ground, the mouth gilt, the stopper probably associated, the base with the four character iron red Qianlong (1736-1796) mark, height 3 1/4 in. Provenance: From the estate of American diplomat Ellsworth Bunker (1894-1984).
