A Chinese Export Gilt Decorated Red and Black Lacquer Tea Caddy, 19th c., canted rectangular form on paw feet, decorated in gold and red lacquer on a black ground with scenes of Chinese life, the interior with three storage compartments with fitted paktong and ivory covers, height 8 in., width 14 3/8 in., depth 8 1/2 in.
