A Chinese Export "Rose Medallion" Stoppered Bottle Vase, probably late 19th/early 20th c., tall cylindrical neck above a shouldered globular body, the body and neck decorated in panels of Chinese figures in a garden pavilion alternating with panels of flora, long- tailed birds and butterflies, reserved against gilt, scrolling foliateand floral ground, the shoulders with panels of birds and flowers against gilt and further flowers, globular knopped gilt finial, gilt in hair, height 18 in.
