A Chinese Famille Rose 'Mille-Fleurs' Porcelain Charger, probably 19th/20th c., exuberantly enameled to the interior with a profusion of colorful flowers on a gilt ground, the exterior with rocks and flowering branches, channeled foot ring, recessed base with Qianlong seal mark, and Jian Ding wax export seal, height 3 in., diameter 15 7/8 in., presented with a reticulated hardwood plate stand.

  • Provenance: Provenance : Estate of Merle Tennyson Montjoy (1920-2008), sold for the benefit of the Mississippi Museum of Art.
