A Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Jar, 19th c., ovoid body enameled with four cartouches enclosing birds and flowers of the four seasons, reserved on a pale blue ground with foliate scrolls, the rim and base with iron red petal lappets, drilled base with Jiaqing seal mark, approx. height 10 in., now mounted as a lamp.

  • Provenance: Provenance : Estate of Merle Tennyson Montjoy (1920-2008), sold for the benefit of the Mississippi Museum of Art.
