A Chinese Famille Verte Porcelain Gu Vase, probably 19th c., beaker form with a splayed base, inset foot ring, tall flared neck and globular central section with raised boss bands, decorated throughout with precious objects and Buddhist emblems, base with six character Kangxi mark, height 10 1/8 in., wood stand, overall height 11 1/4 in., note: glaze frits to mouth rim and to edges of splayed base.
- Provenance: Provenance : Estate of Merle Tennyson Montjoy (1920-2008), sold for the benefit of the Mississippi Museum of Art.
