A Colorful American Carousel Horse, late 19th c., an "outside stander" with open mouth, flowing mane, upturned saddleseat, the harness with inset mirrors, carved tassels and scrolls, now with leather tail, retaining multi-layers of pink paint, height 49in., length 47in. E5000-7000 Note: The mirrored panels and the realistic style and pose of the horse are characteristices of the Dentzel Factory of Philadelphia.
