A Continental Carved, and Polychromed ³Bishop of Rome² Architectural Element, late 18th/19th c., having a large swagged scrolled relief-carved panel centered by a large roundel of a seated figure wearing a papal tiara, holding an orb, and raising his hand in blessing amongst pearl-shaped clouds, Rococo carved shells, basket, flowers, and phoenix birds, held by columnar posts with seraphs and swagged pendants, height 94 in., width 84 in., depth 12 in.
