A Continental Carved Oak Musical Tall Case Clock, 19th century., playing music in a nest of eleven bells, nineteen hammers, the arched dials with 12 in. chapter ring with Roman numerals, the center with moon dial and square date box and steel hands, the spandrels cast with scrollwork, the arch with music indicator, the arched hood centering a shell motif, surmounted by a shelf, having a later eagle figure atop supported by four arms issuing urn finials, the side panels lacking; a waisted case fitted with rectangular door centering a pendulum aperture above a stepped plinth, the interior bearing a paper label from "Collection Auguste Michot...vente de g decembre, 1924", approximate height 9 ft. 4 in., width 24.25in., depth 12.25in.
