A Continental Grand Tour Bronze Warwick Vase, egg and dart molded lip, intertwined handles, Bacchic frieze over acanthus molded bowl, gadrooned everted socle over fluted foot, height 11 1/8 in., width 17 3/8 in.
- Notes: Note: The prototype vase in the Warwick Collection is probably Roman, of the second century; its intriguing design attracted the emulation of artists of diverse periods, especially during the 18th and 19th century Grand Tours.
