A Daguerreotype Portrait of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Barrow, Jr., of Homestead Plantation, West Baton Rouge Parish, mid-19th c., in a velvet-lined leather case with gilt liner, marked "Anderson & Blessing 134 Canal St., New Orleans", 4.75in x 3.75in. E500/750 Note: Alexander Barrow, Jr. was the Son of Senator Alexander Barrow. This daguerreotype was taken on the Barrow's wedding trip to New Orleans, where they attended a banquet honoring General Winfield Scott at the St. Charles Hotel.
