A Derby Porcelain Transferware Dessert Service, 19th c., comprising a compote, eight plates, 2 square footed dishes, 2 round footed dishes, all with foliate scroll rims and magenta ground, polychrome floral reserves and bands, marked with cobalt blue eight-point star and "S" underglaze, compote height 8 3/4 in., width 12 3/4 in. Note: Old repairs to compote.
