A Dutch Rococo Burl Walnut Tall Case Clock, late 18th/early 19th c., signed "Pieter Croese, Amsteldam", the bell top hood with globe and spire finial over molded arch with carved Classical medallion over conforming frieze, the glazed door flanked by columns, the arched moon dial with chapter-ring, seconds dial, hand-painted figural month and week apertures and a charming automated landscape with mill with moving vanes, the oval trunk door with gilt bronze lenticle cast with a figure of Chronos, the bombe base on paw-feet, height 8 ft. 4 in., width 25 in., depth 14.5in.
