A Federal Inlaid Mahogany Sideboard, late 18th/19th c., New York, shaped top, drawer and cupboard flanking a long drawer above bottle drawers and cabinet doors, the square tapered legs headed by urn and lozenge inlays, cuffed at feet, string inlay throughout; later brasses, height 39 in., width 73 in., depth 28 1/2 in.
- Notes: Note: The inset center cabinet, the use of "triple" string inlay and satinwood ellipse inlay on the stiles of this sideboard are similar to elements on a New York sideboard conserved at Wintherthur (acc. 57.850).
