A Fine American Bronze Gueridon, early 20th century, in the Neo- Classical taste, by Edward F. Caldwell & Co., New York, stamped on plaque on side "E.F. Caldwell & Co., N.Y.", the round top with moldededge and verde antico marble top, with three-banded friezes, each centered with a roundel, on tripodal stand, each support with a ram's head joined by acanthus leaf and berry swags, on molded square legs with roundel accented supports, one of which cleverly hinges and opens on paw feet with anthemion knees, joined by a stretcher with a raisedplant stand having scroll decoration on paw feet, height 32.5in., diameter 18.25in.
