A Fine American Classical Carved Giltwood Pier Mirror, c. 1800-1815, probably Boston, blocked pediment with spherule drops, mica encrusted frieze with bas-relief scene of Alexander the Great confronting Diogenes, scroll pilasters; the later mirror plate flanked by reeded columns, blocked at the base, height 53 1/2 in., width 35 in.
