A Fine American Neo-Grec Bronze-Mounted Rosewood, Maple, and Marquetry Cabinet, c. 1870, attributed to Thomas Godey, Baltimore, the top with shaped pedestal, the case with incurvate sides flanking a central cabinet centering a porcelain plaque, all on a conforming plinth, height 46.5in., width 64.5in., depth 16.5in. Note: A nearly identical cabinet labeled by Godey, from the Virginia Carroll Crawford Collection at the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, was sold in these rooms February 19, 2005, lot 516.
