A Fine American Neo-Grec Parcel Gilt and Gilt-Incised Carved Rosewood Armchair, c. 1865, attributed to John Jelliff, Newark, crest with a mother-of-pearl plaque depicting a classical female profile in gilt bronze, the arms fronted by female classical masks on turned legs ending in brass cup casters, upholstered in antique crimson mohair cut velvet outlined with brass nail heads, height 42 1/4 in.
