A Fine American Renaissance Carved Walnut, Burl, Ebonized and Gilt- Incised Firescreen, c. 1860, retaining the original needlepoint and beadwork inset panel, turned and blocked supports capped with elaborate finials, and cabochon, carved walnut and burl framework interspersed with ebonized balls on arched trestle feet, medial blocked and turned stretcher, retaining original surface, height 47 in., width 32 in., depth 17 in.
