A Fine Chinese Polychrome Decorated Inkcake, Qianlong Mark and probably of the Period (1736-1795), curved rectangular form, the convex top with a recessed panel intricately relief carved with a landscape set with a temple exhibiting a sculpture on a table beside a flaming candle inside, the concave side carved with confronting dragons in a turbulent sea, with a raised four character Qianlong nianzhi mark, also raised inscriptions for Peng Yuanrui (1731-1803) and for Yi He Qian Cang Mo, height 4 7/8 in., width 3 1/8 in., depth 7/8 in., carved wood storage box.
