A Fine Empire-Style Gilt Bronze-Mounted Mahogany Dining Suite, late 19th c., comprising a demilune sideboard with shaped backsplash above a verde antico marble top, two frieze drawers, four doors interspersed by pilasters, molded base, paw feet, classical mounts overall, height 58 in., width 97 1/2 in., depth 24 in.; a conforming server with marble top, height 51 3/4 in., width 51 in., depth 20 in.; a dining table with bronze-mounted skirt, two leaves, pedestal base and cabriole legs joined by incurvate stretcher, height 29 1/8 in.; twelve side chairs, lyre-mounted crest rail, padded backs; together with a color engraving after Laslett John Pott (English, 1837-1898), "Napoleon's Farewell to Josephine", signed in plate, published by B. Brooks & Sons, 1891, London, sight 23 3/4 in. x 16 3/8 in., framed.
