A Fine English Gilt-Bronze Paraffin Banquet Lamp, c.1855-1870, in theLouis XVI taste, the tapering columnar shaft applied with Bacchic masks and garland, raised on paw feet upon a three-part base, the wavy molded font applied with acanthus and flowerheads, the wick advance now labeled Matador, fitted with a custom ecru silk shade, not electrified, height 40 in., width 9 in., note: the glass lamp chimney and globe lacking.
