A Fine French Rococo Carved Rosewood Dressing Table, mid-19th c., Andre Lemoine, Paris, stamped, cartouche-shaped mirror, shaped molded marble top, carved long drawer, cabriole legs, height 61 in., width 40 in., depth 22 1/2 in.
Provenance: Estate of Margaret Winling Gulotta, New Orleans.
Note: Andre Lemoine is noted as working with Le Marchand from 1846, and eventually taking over his business in 1853. After Lemoine's death, his son Henri operated the firm until 1893.
