A Fine George III Pickled Pinewood and Composition Mantel, late 18th c., in the manner of Robert Adam, the rectangular beaded cornice above a frieze bordered by tasseled swags and decorated with birds perched atop scrolling foliage sided by classical urns, the legs ornamented by entwined rose brambles and thistles headed by a crown adorned by Prince of Wales plumes, height 56.75in., width 51.5in., depth 6 in.
