A Fine Ivory, Pressed Tortoiseshell, and Silver Card Case, early 19th c., probably English or Continental, the card case of an architect, as bearing the image of a tetrastyle pedimental portico before a rusticated masonry facade on both sides, delicately fitted with silver hinges, silver and brass clasps, and shaped silver inlay, lined with original beige velvet, height 4.125in., width 3 in., depth.625in.
