A Fine Monumental Egyptian Silver Covered Vessel, unmarked, bulbous circular form, plain neck and flared rim, slightly domed cover, all- over repousse and chased surface with various running leaf borders and beading, wide 4.25in., band encircling the bowl with repousse work against a punch work ground consisting of figures, hieroglyphics, some architecture and furniture, the cover with similar decoration and a figural finial, height 13.75in., diameter 14 in., weight approximately 148 troy ozs.
