A Fine Napoleon III Griotte Marble and Bronze-Mounted Figural Three-Piece Garniture de Cheminée, c. 1855, works marked "Japy Freres", the clock case surmounted by a philosopher, conforming five-light candelabra marked "Pradier" (Jean-Jacques Pradier, 1790-1852) and with Susse Freres foundry seals, all with bas relief allegorical scenes, raised on paw feet, clock height 21 in., width 17 1/2 in., depth 9 in., candelabra height 26 1/2 in.
