A Fine Pair of George III Carved Mahogany Armchairs, mid-18th c., after designs of Thomas Chippendale, each having acanthus-carved scrolled ears, the finely carved and pierced splat with foliate cartouche, intertwined scrolled devices accented by leaf carving, acanthus carved scrolled arms, over-upholstered trapezoidal seat, raised on acanthus carved cabriole legs ending in ball and claw feet.
