A Fine Pair of Meissen Porcelain Armorial Lidded Urns, early 19th c., marked with underglaze blue crossed swords, stepped drum form bodies with entwined serpent handles and domed lids, finely painted with reserves of royal armorials with conjoined "AR" monogram, the lids with portrait medallions of a king and queen, each monogrammed "ERC" or "AERC" en verso, held by embracing swans, the reverses of the bodies reserved with trophies of hunting in elaborate gilt cartouches, the mid-section with finely painted hunt scenes, on socle plinth bases molded with trophies of hunting, height 23 1/2 in. ?
