A Fine Set of Three Bavarian Porcelain Teacups and Saucers, c. 1775, Frankenthal, with underglaze blue mark of "crowned CT" (for Elector Palatine Carl Theodore, owner 1762-1798", "N / 1" impressed and tinted sepia brown, cup height 2 in., saucer diameter 5 in. Reference: W. Chaffers, Marks and Monograms (Los Angeles, 1946), p. 507, for the same combination of impressed and painted marks, on plates dated 1775.
