A French Bronze of The Horse Tamer, late 19th/early 20thc., after the "Horses of Marly" by Nicolas Coustou (French, 1658-1733), themselves a variant of a Roman antique, inscribed "Coustou" at base, on a stepped slate base with carved friezes depicting a Classical battle, height 15 in., width 11 1/4 in., depth 5 3/4 in.
