A French Patinated Metal and Slate Figural Mantel Clock, c. 1890-1910, the standing figure of a Legionaire flanked by ornamental scrollwork surrounding the clock case, gilded gadrooned dial marked "Beaufil, Lemans",, the works stamped "Japy et Freres", the whole on an incised slate base, raised cast paw feet, bronzed patina, height 18.5in., width 16in., depth 6in.
