Schultz & Co., Baltimore, comprising a teapot, coffee pot, creamer, sugar and waste bowl, each piece engraved with a Louisiana State seal, weight approx. 86.8 troy ozs Provenance: Descended in the family of Louisiana Governor William Wright Heard (1853-1926). Note: Wright served as governor of Louisiana from 1900 to 1904. He is credited with the design of the Louisiana State Seal, adopted in 1902 and in use to this day.
