Spilsbury, London, 1729-1730, mark entered 1729, engraved armorials repeated on both faces above the applied girdle, one inscribed "1730", the other "SEMPER PARATUS", below the girdle and also on the cover chased strapwork surface decoration, height 10 5-8 in., width 9 3/4 in., weight 36.85 troy ozs.
