A George III Carved Mahogany Bookcase and Bureau, c. 1760-1780, in two parts, the broken arch pediment with feather-carved plinth, stepped dentil molding above a pair of well-figured scalloped doors enclosing adjustable shelves, compartments and four drawers, the slant front lid enclosing drawers and pigeonholes over graduated cockbeaded drawers, raised on molded shaped bracket feet, height 92 in., width 40 in., depth 23 in.
