A George III-Style Mahogany Bookcase-on-Stand, late 19th c., in the manner of Edward and Roberts, after Thomas Chippendale, the broken arch pediment containing pierced diapering, the dentil-molded cornice above a blind fretwork frieze, the doors containing geometric glazing bars opening to a cream moire lined shelved interior, the projecting stand with a pair of drawers above a concave shelf, the square legs on block feet, the whole ornamented by blind fretwork, height 84.25in., width 47.5in., depth 18.5in.
