A German Quarter-Chiming Rosewood Mantel Clock, c. 1900, stamped on backplate 'W & H Sch:', Winterhalder and Hofmeier of Schwarzenbach, the pediment with carved frieze supported by fluted columns, side doors with fretwork, the dial with silvered chapter ring, Roman numerals and two dials for chime and speed regulation, the base with a dedication plaque dated 1901, height 16 .5in., width 12 .25 in., depth 7 .25 in.
