A Good American Classical Figured Mahogany Pier Table, early 19th c., Philadelphia, original white marble top, frieze drawer, columnar supports with engine-turned bronze mounts, original mirror plate, incurvate plinth, outset carved paw feet, height 35 in., width 42 in., depth 20 in.
- Notes: Note: The restrained columnar supports with bronze collars and paw feet with gadrooned terminals on this table are similar to those on a number of tables attributed to Anthony Quervelle, including lot 341, sold by Neal Auction Company February 23, 2008 and a table pictured in Smith.
