Hooper and Company, Boston, comprised of a five light candelabrum and a pair of three light candelabra, retaining original slightly oxidized gilt. E1000-2000 Note: This pattern, described by H. Parrott Bacot as "the ultimate example of a vintage pattern in an American candleholder" is documented by the 1858 Hooper catalogue. The five light candelabrum was offered as number 580 and the matching three light candelabrum as number 581 See Nineteenth Century Lighting, pg. 140, no. 202
