A Good American Renaissance Carved Walnut and Burl Parlour Suite, c. 1870, attributed to John Jelliff, Newark, N.J., comprised of a settee armchair and sidechair, the triple back settee with arched foliate crest and medallions between each side, the frame outlined with burled panels, rounded padded arms, shaped seat rail raised on turned legs with casters, the chairs of conforming style, all recently upholstered in burgundy velvet, settee height 44 in., width 63 in., depth 23 in.
