A Good American Thirty-Hour Mantel Clock, early 19th c., by Jerome & Co., New Haven, mahogany case with ogee-molded front, intact door with fine églomisé painting of floral bouquet on black ground within blue border with gilt ornament, fruit-decorated dial, retaining complete works with hands, weights, pendulum, regulator, and key, as well as large illustrated label with full instruction applied to interior backboard, the works support twice inscribed in pencil with the name of the purchaser, "Bishop Westfield", height 26 in., width 15 1/2 in., depth 4 1/4 in. Provenance: Cox House, Richmond, Virginia.
