A Good Antique Acadian Cypress Petite Armoire, having a molded top, paneled doors opening to later shelves, scalloped apron and cabriole legs, the surface with layers of old paint, height 55 in., width 38 in., depth 18 1/2 in. Reference: The inward-curved cabriole legs on this example are very similar to those on a cherrywood corner cabinet from the collection of Dr. George Crozat illustrated in Jessie Poesch, Early Furniture of Louisiana, p. 65, pl. 46
