A Good Chinese Export "Famille Rose" Octagonal Platter, c. 1780, Qianlong, with notched and canted corners, painted in overglaze enamels with an iron red fence, grisaille hollow rock issuing branches of peonies and a single large peony in puce, within a lambrequin-type border, the rim with wave diapering broken by lime green and famille jaune leaves supporting prunus, slightly arched base, 13in. x 16in.
